On behalf of all of the people of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, welcome to our website. Located in Humphrey, Nebraska, we strive to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and announce His saving message to all we encounter in our daily lives. It is our hope that this website will help you learn more about our Lord and our parish.
Welcome
St. Francis of Assisi Parish Mission
We, the people of St. Francis Parish, young and old, from different nationalities and occupations, recall our Franciscan heritage and continued dedication to catholic education. We are a Roman Catholic Community in rural Platte County, sharing and practicing our faith.
By Baptism, we are initiated into Christ, enriched by the Word of God, and through the Eucharist we are strengthened to love and serve others with love, compassion and justice. In union with the Pope and our bishop we are part of one, holy, catholic, apostolic Church of Jesus Christ and we are confirmed in the Holy Spirit.
As members of the parish, with our pastor, we take responsibility for the spiritual, formational and financial needs of our parish. Through our faith and love of the gospel we seek and strive to create an environment that will invite others to share faith with us, until we all attain the fullness of the Kingdom.
